The intricate patterns of interlacing triangles, 9 in all, symbolise the manifestation of all things on all levels, from the most subtle to the gross, from the first stirrings and vibrations in the vast stillness of the cosmic waters, to the appearance of our consciousness and the body.

The worship and sadhana of the Sri Yantra is an elaborate and deep tantric practice. Merely gazing upon this symbol resonates deep in the consciousness.
