WEEKEND EVENTS are for students and teachers, across a range of topics and levels.
Cost is £40 for day programmes, £80 for weekends unless otherwise stated. If you have difficulty paying for an event, please contact us as we do not wish to exclude students from Yoga programmes because of the cost.
Please bring vegetarian lunch to share (except for Shankhaprakshalana)
Arrive 15 minutes early for a prompt start. Day programmes are 9am to 5pm, weekends from 9am Saturday to 3pm Sunday. Students may come on the Friday night if attending a weekend programme.

Nada Yoga Workshops at the Satyananda Yoga Centre
Dates: Saturdays 23 June and 25 July 2016
Experience the effects of sound vibrations on your body and mind. In these workshops we will focus on the various ways of doing Swara Sadhana, a practice where different musical scales are used to internalise your awareness, stimulate the energy centres (chakras) and channels (nadis) within the body. This will lead you into a state of peace and tranquillity, a clearer mind, and a feeling of lightness and joy that is inherent in you but which is often hidden under layers of stress and mental confusion.
Unlike many practices of meditation that require a lot of discipline and sustained focus, the practice of Swara Sadhana and simple mantras such as Om or the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (also included in the workshop) will give you instant results even at a beginner stage.
Recordings, practice materials, and advice on sustainable home practice will all be provided to workshop participants.
