Towards Nirvana charity event

with Krishnadhyanam and others

SYC London has for many years supported the work of Nirvanavan Foundation in Rajasthan,
India. In 2008 Krishnadhyanam started a charity in U.K. (Towards Nirvana) to support the work of
the Foundation in India.

On 1st October Krishnadhyanam, along with others, will be going for a hop skip and jump – Towards Nirvana – around Regents Park in Central London. You are cordially invited to join him and help raise money for this wonderful organisation which is presently providing an education for over 500 children in the countryside surrounding Alwar city in Rajasthan.

You can help by taking part yourself, asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you (don’t worry, hopping, skipping and jumping is optional – simply walking is perfectly acceptable!). If you do not wish to take part but simply wish to show your support, you can sponsor Krishnadhyanam – who will begin by hopping, skipping and jumping but who will quickly resort to walking!

Towards Nirvana is hoping to raise a thousand pounds towards paying off the cost of the new big yellow school bus.

Sunday afternoon, October 1st
3.00pm at the Regents Bar Cafe in Regents Park (nearest tube, Baker Street).

If you would like to take part send an email to Philip at towardsnirvana@gmx.co.uk or contact KD either at the Centre 020 8673 4869 or phone him on 07905534217.

For more information about Towards Nirvana and the Foundation in India see the website www.towardsnirvana.org.

The workshop will combine the practice of Mudras with the Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.  It is suitable for practitioners with some experience of Yoga.
