About the Satyananda Yoga Centre (London)
The London Centre has provided yoga classes in South London for over forty years under the direction of Swami Pragyamurti. Our emphasis is towards a meditative approach and the spiritual aspect of Yoga, in the tradition of the Bihar School of Yoga.

Weekly classes
We offer weekly classes for all levels. We encourage regular attendance, especially for beginners to ensure you have a good foundation in yoga. Classes include postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama) and deep relaxation (yoga nidra) or meditation, appropriate to the level of the class.

Weekend events
Do you want to go deeper into your yoga practice? We have weekend events to give you time and space to explore aspects of yoga that are not covered in weekly classes.

Kirtan
Kirtan (joyful chanting) is held at 7.30pm on the last Friday of each month, preceded by the chanting 108 times of the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra for the relief of suffering. Kirtan is free, all welcome!
